The DIY Drones Servo Optocoupler has two functions: It can serve as a simple optocoupler to transmit a clean signal to servos from a receiver, isolating them from any electric noise from the rest of the RC equipment (useful if your servos are "jittering" due to RF interference, for example). Or it can be modified to function as a servo amplifier, increasing a 3.3v PWM signal to 5v. This is useful if you're connecting a modern digital RC receiver to an autopilot or other electronics running on 5v, such as the UAV DevBoard. The device can support two channels as both an amplifier and an optocoupler.
